The aims of this course are: to provide students with a structured opportunity to obtain practical experience from working, doing maths/computing related work relevant to their level of competence and experience and to enable potential employers to give structured feedback on the student's potential. to ask students to read at least one classical and important research paper on selected mathematical topics that are suggested by their supervisors.
